Living in California was wonderful. Earthquakes were small but the media were constantly warning of the “big one”. Bay Area scientist discussed at times ways to relieve the tension in the faults as a way to avoid or reduce the effects of the “big one”. Perhaps, California should encourage fracking in order to relieve tension.
